Hi, this is Ted calling from ***
So my new job started last Thursday. Ever had people rip the hair off your ball sac (for guys and hermaphrodites that is) and then tickle your nostrils with those very strands? Well, that's how I feel at my new job. I agreed to work for this company under the impression that I would be in the sales and marketing department. Well, I guess I am. I DO help them market their services and my job description really does fit under sales.
I'm a cold calling freakadeek. Yup. I'm one of those operators that call you when you and your girlfriend are playing groundhog day. Well, maybe not that bad. I only call during business hours and I only call business and not residential numbers. So, I guess I'm one up on that. But still, one up from -1 is 0.
Telemarketing is still what it is, no matter how you spin it. Is there even a decent euphemistic phrase for telemarketing? How about "Prospective client consultant" or "Rape-me-at-work phone slave?"
Fortunately, I don't JUST do cold calling. I'm also involved with recruiting, which is actually pretty rewarding. It's just that the cold calling hours pass by like a Mercedes super-diesel car going uphill. Hopefully I'll be able to tough this job out for the next three to four months before law school starts. Well, actually, the correct hypothetical phrase would be "IF law school starts." If I can't endure it though, I just might have to look for another job.

Last week and the weekend was pretty chill. I got to kick it with some old friends. On Wednesday, I got to grab some good boba at AU 79 in Arcadia with Soo and I bumped into Brian. Dayamn Brian, you go there too much.
On Friday, I went to this SEMA industry afterparty at the Hollywood Athletic Club with Lan and Ed. They had DJ Jimmy Kim from KIIS FM on the ones and twos in the main dancefloor. He should have only been on the ones. hahaha. The drinks at that event were freaking nasty... Normally I don't complain about too much alcohol in my drinks, (more bang for the buck right?) but dayamn, you at least want your drink to taste alright. Shots are different, but drinks should always taste at least halfway decent. Oh well, I still got my buzz on.
Saturday night was spent with the missus who came back from her 7-day cruise... Actually, from what I heard, the "7-day glutton fest" is probably a better description of the trip. Century Club was an option on Saturday night, but instead I ended up watching I movie. Yall are gonna laugh at what I watched... Tommy wanted to see this movie and guaranteed a boba drink if it sucked. If it wasn't for that boba Tommy, I don't know homey. hahaa. Naw, it was a decent flick and I've seen worse before so I can't complain. The movie I saw was Hellboy. Surprisingly it ranked #1 at the box office this weekend, grossing $23 million. For my boo- sorry for making you watch that. hahaha.
Mr. AU 79 himself, Brian
I supposedly went to San Diego with her this weekend, Soo
Ed & Lan

Today's eye candy is Ms. Lisa Gleave. I'm too lazy to write an intro on her. She's not a new candy on this site anyway. Blah. Here she is. Enjoy.
