With just a press of a button, almost every channel on your television will be broadcasting the ongoing progress of the war. And what a fine cast we have in front of us. You have the trigger happy advocates of war who will gladly exterminate anyone for ... wait, what`s the reason? who cares. Let`s kill. Then you have the bouyant protesters who believe their cause-worthy demonstrations actually do influence the governing powers at large because of course their freedom of speech will send huge ripples across the political surface of American water. And who can forget the always reliable and veracious media sources who fuel their vehicles on their studio lot with false pretenses so that can drive home content.

I have my own opinion about this war just like everyone else, but honestly, I can`t fully state anything but what I know and right now I do not agree with our beloved President. Yes, I know he is a genius and a man of true virtue, (as was the unibomber) but I am not going to judge Bush by his character, but more by his actions.... Wait, that is unless his character can be blamed for his tunnel vision. Supporters of war think Saddam (and indirectly Iraq) must be destroyed because of.... wait, wait, this is really pivotal...drum roll please... Violations of former UN resolutions! No, sorry let me rephrase that. I meant former UN RESOLTUIONS. See! Now that the letters are Upper-cased, it sounds much more sensible.

I am not opposed to war when war is needed, but I don`t think now is the right time. On the same note, I am not advocating Iraq or denying the possibility that they might be linked with terrorism, but the reason to this war just does not make sense to me. At least not the excuses proposed by Bush and his minions. Like the U.S. has nothing to hide when it comes to adhering to UN regulations and policies, right? Oh no, never. (give em the bambi eyes Bushy boy)

I have so much more to say, but I won`t just because this has been the only topic nowadays... a little depressing. For one thing, living in Japan gave me the opportunity to see a less biased view of the war... although the media here is affected by rampant propaganda and censored information as well. Anyway, just had to record my thoughts. Let`s hope this craziness is over soon.
