Monthly Update

Dayang, I haven't posted in a Long Dat Dong time. Work, studying, and social obligations have been keeping me busy. The real time killer is probably the increasing amount of time I put in for my LSAT studying, which actually isn't all that much, but after a day's worth of work, it sure seems like a lot. I actually was pretty happy with my progress doing the problems one by one, but after I took a practice test under timed conditions last week, I realized just how little I was getting accomplished not doing the practice tests.

In anycase, I really don't want to study right now because I just finished a practice test, so I'm going to update this site. About time I guess.

My birthday was on the 27th of August. My coworkers surprised me by decorating my cubicle, which caught me completely off guard.

Then they served me one of the most delectable crazy chocolate cakes I ever had in my life. Talk about devouring that sucker up.

Later on that evening, I met up with some friends at the Yardhouse in Pasadena. I wasn't going to celebrate this year, but I ended up asking a few heads to come out at the last minute. For all those who made it that night, thank you. I had a really good time, from what I remember that is... Maybe I should thank those who helped me fill in the blanks because those missing pieces of information helped me cherish my 25th birthday. =P

The next weekend, while everyone and their mommas were getting filthy in Vegas, Linda surprised me with a little weekend getaway on an ancient wooden eggroll with sails. Thanks boo - You went all out on that one and I'm definitely not going to forget anything, from the card and present to the yacth and that weekend.

After the little rendezvous on the yacht on Friday and Saturday, I went to White Lotus on Sunday with some friends. My homeboy, Taku from Japan who went to Oregon to study for one year, was going back to Japan for good and he came by Los Angeles to bid farewell to the States. Taku, you know you're always welcome in LA and I'll be seeing you in Tokyo sometime real soon man.

Coincidentally, that weekend, Michiko was in LA seeing Mr. Alcoholic himself before she took off to Japan too. Everyone's going back to Japan!!! I wanna go too!!!

Fast forward to the last week... It was Linda's b-day and we ended up getting our grub on at a seafood restaurant in Garden Grove before hitting up V20 in Long Beach. V20 was packed and actually had a good diverse crowd but I don't think I'll be going back. It's not because of the venue; it's because I'm officially an old man who needs to stop dancing to protect my bones from snapping. That and 1:00 is past my bedtime now. hahaha

Happy B-day Linda!!!

Well, that's my update... For those who made it this far, you sure have patience... Or you're at work. This upcoming weekend, I'll be down in San Diego to give an Open House for the La Jolla condo and then of course to see Mr. Panty Dropper himself, Dzuy Pham, for his b-day celebragala. Happy b-day Z and I'll see you and all you other freaks tomorrow night.
